PART 2

There are 2 kinds of Web page structures:

1. Regular
2. Framed

Regular:

• A stand-alone structure.
  
• Composed of a single HTML file.
  

Frame:

• Enable you to place more than one Web page on-screen at a time.
  
• give you more capabilities,
• put several HTML files on-screen at once.

Common elements:

• Web pages are built with elements.
• A usual Web page features a basic structure of three elements:
  

HTML, HEAD, and BODY.

• The HTML element contains both the HEAD elements and BODY elements.
• Example :

BODY element:

• All the code for everything that’s visible on the Web page goes into the BODY element.

HEAD element:

• Contains information such as the page’s title, which goes between the and tags like this:

• The title did not appear on the actual Web page but it’s displayed in the title bar at the top of the visitor’s Web browser.
• Let me give you several examples:

Frames and framesets.

• Framed Web pages enable you to make the content from multiple HTML files onto one screen.
  
• Compare to regular sites, framed sites work a bit differently.
• You construct them out of framesets, which set off different areas of the screen.
  
• Each one of these areas is known as a frame
• Each frame contains its own Web page.
